What is BooomTickets?
BooomTickets is ticket scanning software for event organisers. You create a concert or festival in your dashboard, upload the ticket barcodes you have already sold, and your door staff scan those tickets with a free app on their own phones. Each barcode can only pass once — a second scan is rejected instantly on every device.
It is built for small and independent organisers: promoters running a few hundred to a few thousand guests, festivals, clubs, theatres and conferences. You do not need to sell your tickets through us and you do not need to rent handheld scanners — BooomTickets works with the barcodes from whichever ticketing provider you already use.

Create your event
Add the concert or festival in your dashboard: name, city, venue and date. You can run as many events in parallel as you like.

Upload your barcodes
Import the barcodes you already sold from Excel or CSV, or push them in real time through our REST API and PHP SDK — including tickets sold at the box office while the doors are open.

Your staff install the free Android or iOS app, connect it to the event, and start scanning. Valid, duplicate and unknown tickets are shown instantly, and every device stays in sync.

No. BooomTickets is a scanning and check-in system, not a ticket shop. You keep selling through whatever provider or shop you use today and simply upload the resulting barcodes — from Excel, CSV or through the API.
Upload an Excel or CSV file with the barcode list in your dashboard, or send barcodes to the REST API. You can also add barcodes while the event is running, which covers tickets sold at the box office on the night.
Yes. There are free scanner apps for Android (Google Play) and iPhone or iPad (App Store). Your staff install the app on their own phones, connect it to your event and start scanning — no dedicated scanner hardware is required.
Yes. The apps keep scanning when there is no connection, which matters at open-air sites with weak mobile coverage. Results are stored on the device and synchronised automatically once it is back online.
The second scan is rejected. The app shows a red "already scanned" result together with the time and the gate of the first entry, so copied screenshots and forwarded PDFs do not get in.
Yes. You can run several scanners at several gates simultaneously. All devices share the same event data and the same live attendance count.
The Cloud and Self-hosted plans are $19 per month with unlimited concerts and unlimited tickets. A hardware and on-site service package is available for $299 per month. Every plan starts with a free one-month trial and no credit card is required.
Yes. The hardware package includes four handheld scanners, a Raspberry Pi and a Wi-Fi router with SIM support, with an on-site scanning service available on request. A €1300 deposit applies and is refunded when the equipment is returned.
Yes. BooomTickets is operated from Germany and follows the GDPR. All data is encrypted in transit, and with the self-hosted plan the data never leaves your own infrastructure.
